Spring Has Sprung !
It’s Time for Everyone To Care about Appearances
Spring weather is here and it’s a great time to look at the appearance of the exterior of your home and see if it meets our Deed Restrictions regarding mowing, trimming, edging, adequate ground cover and general neatness of your property.
We understand there is a water restriction for irrigation, however, we ask homeowners with large, bare sections of lawn to consider possible solutions. Our Deed Restriction reads as follows:
Care and Appearance of Premises
All improved lots shall be fully sodded including the area between the front lot line and the paved portion of any right-of-way upon which the said lots abut, except the driveways. Each owner shall be responsible for maintaining all landscaping, grass, driveways, structures and grounds in good condition and repair in a neat and attractive manner, to include mowing, edging and clippings cleanup. This includes the area between the front lot line and the paved portion of any right-of-way upon which the said lots abut, except the driveways.
Pollen season may be over, but there’s still a LOT of pollen in and around properties that needs to be raked, swept and removed.
In regard to general neatness, take a walk around your home to see if it needs to be cleaned. Walls and window sills become dirty over time.
If you have a basketball hoop, check to see if it should be replaced, fixed or removed. Some have become rusted, broken and old looking.
We have many mailboxes that are old, broken and/or covered with mildew and mold. These should be replaced or cleaned.
Depending on how your property looks, you either help or take away from everyone’s property values.
