OUR BEAUTIFUL ENTRANCE

Over these past few weeks, a landscaping transformation has taken place at our Jade entrance and the result is stunning!

 

Many thanks to our Board President, Billy, for all the hours he has put in to not only brainstorm ideas but to supervise the renovation and do a lot of the hard work himself.

 

And, many thanks to all the Board members for supporting a much needed landscape project after things were left unfinished and poorly done by our former landscape company.

 

The improvements include:

• new plantings at the Jade monument walls to complement our new look

• a total clean-up of the island’s old landscape

• new plantings throughout the island

• fresh mulch with edging to prevent it from falling off the island

• fresh paint around the island curbing

• low plants in the island at the stop sign so drivers can see if a walker or bike rider is crossing

• clean sidewalks along our Wilkinson entrance area and along Jade

• cleaner look around the 4 lamp posts with new edging and mulch

 

As a result, we now have an entrance of which we can all be proud!
